As a new era begins with Lizard Lake I would like to see if people can put updates on this site. It would be great to see pictures.

Is their anyway to get a hold of the engineering plans for the Lake? I would like to know if the items that were brought up at the last public meeting were put into the project.

Has any construction started? I talked to a DNR guy a while back and he said they were scheduled to start draining the lake March 23rd.

The last I heard construction was tobegin April 1st

just thought i would let everybody know that i was at lizard today no construction has started. looks like there is some markers going down the creek morthwest of the damm thats the only thing that we saw. there was a lot of water going over the damm also. lots of water fowl too

I was at the lake this weekend. Saw lots of markers at the dam also. Looks like they have tested out a jack hammer on the center of the dam maybe.
I am now hearing that they will start the project in about 2 weeks.

I was thinkin that something looked diff.at the damm
dont remember it being that deep in the middle of it
hopefully they will keep pushin the start date back

I was at the lake last weekend looks like they are getting it staked out . lots of muddhens and pelicans on the lake.
I will try and get back up and try to get some pictures if they are starting
