Nope. Not Okoboji. However, it is a very popular recreational lake in Northwest Iowa. The water was so green that day that it made Lizard Lake look like Okoboji.

Good guess, but no. Not Spirit Lake. Hint: One of the Iowa DNR's Fish Management offices is located here. Interesting isn't it that they can't even properly manage a lake right next door to one of there own offices.

No. Not South Twin. This lake is more to the east. The lake in the photo was recently "restored" by draining it and keeping the water level lowered. There is so much cattail growth that even the duck hunters are complaining.
